Flamenco Romántico is pleased to introduce our resident theory Flamenco guitar instructor, James MacColl. He is available for both teaching and performing. In his own words, James says,
“I’m a virtuoso acoustic Flamenco guitarist, with many years experience as both a soloist, dance and cante accompanist and composer.”
Over the years, I’ve either played or shared venue With such as Rosa Montoya’s Baile Flamenco, Los Flamencos de la Bodega, Cheech Marin, Robben Ford, Strictly Tango, Enrique Iglesias, Los Lobos, Mark Bittner (“Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill”), CLIO award winning writer Gary Tigerman, and many more. I’ve also recorded for TV (ABC TV in Hollywood) and film (including the “Consumer Power” series, about Ralph Nader for Bailey Film Associates, among others) Clients have included such as Emmy Award winning Director Ron Bacon (ABC TV, The Academy Awards), Hyatt St.Claire, Sonoma Mission Inn, Bank of America, Calpine, Sheraton Petaluma, Nordstrom, Avance, Napa Valley Museum, Georgios, Shoreline Amphitheater (opening for Enrique Iglesias), Cucina Rustica,Icon Capital, VIP Mobile, Cohn & Wolfe (event honoring Spiros Pissinos, Assistant Conductor of the N.Y.
