My wonderful Flamenco dance teacher here in Sevilla, Spain, Angelita Vargas, major Flamenco artist (dancer) and teacher of the pure Flamenco style, suffered a stroke at the end of June 2011.

Flamenco Romantico Poolside Studio Soquel (Santa Cruz) California 831-216-6072
Saturdays: 11AM-12:30PM – Beginning Flamenco Dance, focusing on technique, compas (rhythm and accents), the “Palo” of Bulerias (Fiesta dance).
Thursdays 6:30-8 PM – Beginning/Intermediate Flamenco Dance focusing on Footwork technique. Class includes compas (rhythm and accents) and learning the “Palo” of Bulerias (Fiesta dance).
Wednesdays 6:30 -8:00 PM – Intermediate/Advanced.
- Solea Class – Soleá (Concha Vargas choreography) + technique
(Open to beginners if they are curently signed up for and attending Thursday and Saturday classes and are pre-approved).
Cost:
All group classes are $20 for drop-in or $60 for 4 classes taken within a 4-week period).
Live Musical accompaniment in all group classes!
