2018 Lakshmi Basile’s Flamenco Dance Workshop
Class Schedule
July 9th and July 10th, 2018
7pm – 8:30pm Por Alegrias / Tangos / Bulerias / Siguerilla
Class Description:
Class will consist of continuous/repetitive movement within a specific flamenco palo/rhythm. We will drill bodywork, footwork and expression. This dynamic in class develops conditioning exercises that simulates our muscle memory and thus allows participantes to remember material after class is over. In short, a workout with flamenco movements that later you can more successfully apply to your own dance vocabulary. Class material will be useful as technique exercises or as posible choreography inserts.
