Greetings to everybody!
After a long hiatus, the buds of Santa Cruz flamenco are beginning to sprout again. I just hope that we didn't lose too many of you through this long drought.
Lakshmi is coming to teach again and she's very enthusiastic, as she feels that Santa Cruz has the greatest aficionados! After consulting with Lakshmi, we decided on a program that will be more fun than simply choreography. Therefore, this time it will be tangos and bulerias, along with a special limited workshop for bata de cola.
We should be happy to shed the "holiday surplus" at this time as well.

Flamenco Dance Workshop with Lakshmi

Weekdays
Tangos (all levels) – Jan. 21-25, Jan. 28-Feb. 1              6:30-7:30
Bulerias (all levels) – Jan. 21-25, Jan. 28-Feb. 1              7:30-8:30
Fees:    $135 per workshop if paid before January 17, $150 thereafter.
$260 for both workshops if paid before January 17, $280 thereafter.
$20 per class drop-in.

Special Weekend Classes (Saturday and Sunday)
Technique (int./adv.) – Jan. 26-27, Feb. 2-3                       12:30-1:30     $60 or $20 drop-in
Bata de Cola* (int./adv.) – Jan. 26-27, Feb. 2-3            1:45-3:00      $80 or $25 drop-in
*Note: Bata de Cola class size is limited to 8 participants

$120 for both workshops if paid before January 17.
Package price for taking all classes: $365

Description of Bata de Cola Class:
This class will teach how to dance with a Bata de Cola. We will do technique and choreography. We will start class without the bata, focusing on the correct alignment. You do not need a bata to take this class, but it is recommended.
